New UI operation guide

This chapter covers how to use the new screen mirroring UI. First complete software download, IPA signing, and disk image setup in the main tutorial.

How to enter

Start and sign in to the control center
In the top toolbar, click Group screen control
In the dialog, select New UI (recommended), then click OK
Wait for the screen mirroring client window to open

UI overview

After entering, you will see these areas:

Area	Description
Sidebar	Left: Workspace and More tools tabs
Device list	Shows all connected devices; supports multi-select
Main control window	Center area showing the main control device screen
Mini screens	Draggable device thumbnails; right-click for the action menu
System settings	Open the settings panel from the sidebar or toolbar

Start automation

Return to the control center main UI; confirm the phone is connected via USB and iTools/爱思助手 recognizes the device
In the control center device list, right-click the target device and choose Start automation
Wait briefly until Service status shows blue Yes — that means success
If it does not succeed within 1 minute, right-click and choose Test automation to see the error
After automation starts successfully, return to the screen mirroring client for further steps

Which screen mode should I pick?

Open System settings in the client, choose a mode under Scene mode, then click Start screen mirroring. Use this table:

USB_HID (including No-automation screenshot + USB_HID and Main-app recording + USB_HID) and Bluetooth USB_BLE both require iOS 17 or later. On older iOS versions, use USB + automation service.

Not sure? Try No-automation screenshot + USB_HID first (simplest, needs iOS 17+). If you need smoother video, custom keyboard input, or main-app clipboard features, switch to Main-app recording + USB_HID.

No-automation screenshot + USB_HID (no app needed)

Requires iOS 17+.

System settings → Scene mode → No-automation screenshot + USB_HID
Click Start screen mirroring and wait for the phone screen to appear
Click and swipe with the mouse to control the phone

Main-app recording + USB_HID

Requires iOS 17+.

Go to the Download area, download the offline main app IPA (already signed — install it on the phone and open it). If you get the same IPA from the cloud drive instead, you must sign it yourself before installing
Enter that app’s package name under IPA bundle ID in the control center or screen client
System settings → Scene mode → Main-app recording + USB_HID
Click Start screen mirroring; if the phone shows Start Broadcast / Live, confirm it
When needed, click Open main app / Runner in the sidebar or status bar to bring the main app to the front

With this mode: mouse clicks and swipes work as usual; copy text, open links, and album upload prefer the offline main app and are usually simpler. If taps do nothing, right-click the device → USB HID → Rebuild USB HID session.

Start screen mirroring

Pick a scene in system settings
If you chose USB + automation service, make sure automation is already on
Click Start screen mirroring in the sidebar or toolbar
Wait a few seconds for the phone screen to show up
Control the phone with the mouse; you can change swipe behavior in system settings

Common operations

Text input

In IME settings under system settings, choose one:

System default: sends text using the current screen mode (enough for most cases)
Custom IME: download the pre-signed offline main app from the Download area and install it directly (cloud-drive IPAs must be signed by you); open Keyboard setup in settings for how to enable and authorize the keyboard

In short: Custom IME = install the offline main app from the Download area + follow Keyboard setup.

Script recording

Click Record script in the sidebar
After creating a script, click Start recording and operate the phone in the main control window
Save when done, then choose to run
Note: you must operate in the main control window to record; running scripts requires USB device authorization

Upload images / videos

iOS 15+: Use Upload video or Upload image in the toolbar; or right-click a mini screen → Images & videos
Supports Select folder for batch upload, or Select image/video for single files
Below iOS 15: Use File Transfer Helper — install the File Transfer Helper IPA and follow the dialog instructions
In main-app recording mode, keep the offline main app available when uploading to the album (use Open main app / Runner if needed)

Clipboard

Copy text to phone

Click Copy text in the toolbar
Main-app recording: usually works directly; if not, click Open main app / Runner first
Automation screen mode: on iOS 15+, click Open IPA first, then send text
Below iOS 15, use File Transfer Helper

Read phone clipboard

Right-click a mini screen → Clipboard → Read clipboard to PC
Main-app recording: usually works directly
Automation screen mode: on iOS 15+, bring the proxy IPA to the foreground first

Open URL / app

Main-app recording: open a URL or app directly (follow the on-screen fields)
Automation screen mode (iOS 15+): use Open app in the toolbar — open the proxy IPA first, then fill in the fields
Below iOS 15: use File Transfer Helper

Other

In USB_HID modes, if you see the screen but mouse control does nothing: right-click the device → USB HID → Rebuild USB HID session
USB flash disconnect, restart device, restart communication tunnel, etc. are in the device right-click menu or toolbar
If automation fails to start, try USB flash disconnect; on iOS 17+, try restart communication tunnel
